I think it's a terribly worded phrase.

Well, the chase of someone new is always interesting.. new sex may be better- but there is something that is more beautiful, uplifting about connecting and binding with someone that really loves you. Now if you can find all that combined in a great lover in a life partner forsaking all others makes alot of sense!

Well I can't claim I know what's going on (been a while since I've read your journals at all), but the main thing that comes to mind is marriage. Thinking about/in the process of getting married?
